As an Industrial Spray Painter and Machine Builder, you will prepare and paint Koike machines while supporting assembly, equipment testing, and customer equipment repairs. This role rotates across production departments and requires attention to surface preparation, finish quality, machine functionality, and customer specifications. The position offers a yearly profit share plan, 90, 180, 270-day performance evaluations with potential pay increases, and requires a willingness to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Prepare machine surfaces for painting.
• Assemble proprietary machines and verify functionality and conformance to customer specifications.
• Test equipment, machine capabilities, and operating performance.
• Fit and align bearings, shafts, transmissions, belts, pulleys, chains, sprockets, and drive gearing, including housings.
• Rotate across production departments and support changing production needs.
• Work overtime as required and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.

Required Qualifications

• Vocational training or two to three years of relevant experience.
• Experience with spray painting.
• Ability to read blueprints and apply shop mathematics.
• Knowledge of machine construction and design.
• Ability to use shop measuring instruments.
• Physical ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work overtime.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two or more years of industrial spray painting experience.
• Vocational training in industrial painting, machine construction, or a related field.
